Where do ballet, technology, film, and fine art find common ground?

These elements come together as a multi-faceted collaboration to achieve a lasting artistic translation depicting the kinetic motion of dance. The Manibus Project captures the unique and dynamic movements of ballet via electronic device which transfers the information to a wireless robot that paints a translation of the event. This creation process yields physical, painted works of art and is documented through the media of film. The project intro video by filmmaker, Jack Meggers, can be viewed by clicking on the video tab.
